London accounts for 73,974 build to rent units (including completed units, those under construction and those with planning permission), while the entire rest of the country accounts for just 66,116.

Based on London’s units alone, and with an average rent of £2,000 pcm, the average value of the rent rolling in per annum is £1.776 billion.
